Job summary

A leading company in children's care seeks a Child Support Worker in Wallasey. You will work in a supportive environment with children and young people exhibiting emotional and behavioral difficulties. Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a support worker role.
• Level 3 qualification desirable but will be funded after probation.
• Ideally drivers.

Responsibilities

• Work with a children's home provider supporting children with EBD.
• Follow care plans and ensure support meets OFSTED standards.
• Work with team members to maintain safety in the home.

Children's Support Worker

Job Details:

• Children's Support Worker
• Working with a well-established children's home provider that specialise in supporting children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours
• The home is based in Wallasey
• The home supports up to 2 young people
• The support on offer follows the social pedagogy approach of support
• Working with Seniors, Deputies and Registered Manager to ensure the home is safe and supporting
• Follow care plans
• Ensure all support offered meets OFSTED and company standards
• Full-time, permanent contract
• 1 on, 2 off, including sleeps
• £13.20 per hour
• + £60 sleep in rate
• 6 months of experience as a minimum in a support worker role
• Ideally drivers
• Level 3 is desirable, but not essential, will be funded once probation is passed
