Salary: From £27,581 per annum + £3,000 - £6,000 per annum for sleep-ins

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (39 hours per week, 2 on 4 off shift pattern)

About The Opportunity

Leader Recruitment Group is partnering with an established provider to recruit compassionate Children's Residential Support Workers for a nurturing family-style home in Crawley. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD), providing encouragement, patience, and inspiration to help them thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a professional parent, offering emotional and physical support to young people in a safe and loving home environment.
  • Build trusting relationships and empower children to make decisions about themselves.
  • Support young people through challenging situations with a calm and positive approach.
  • Participate in activities like go-karting, cinema trips, and bowling to create positive experiences.
  • Assist with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry to maintain a homely environment.
  • Work collaboratively with a caring team, led by a Registered Manager, to promote well-being and development.
About You
  • Essential: Caring, flexible, resilient personality with a passion for supporting young people.
  • Great communication skills and a positive, energetic attitude.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including sleep-ins.
  • Experience in residential care, youth work, education, sports, or working with vulnerable people.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
