JobsTrackR is seeking a Children's Solicitor in Swindon to provide high-quality legal services under a temporary full-time contract. The role focuses on advising Officers and Members, drafting varied legal documents, and managing a caseload within a public sector framework.

The successful candidate will research, apply relevant laws, and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and corporate policies.

Qualifications

• Provide accurate, succinct and timely legal advice to Officers and Members.
• Ability to act as advocate and represent the Client in legal proceedings.
• Draft and complete all types of legal documentation, including where external organisations are involved.
• Research legal questions and convert findings into actionable advice.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, succinct and timely legal advice, representation and support to Officers and Members of the Client in relation to routine transactional and complex matters.
• Hold day to day personal accountability for a case load of files.
• Research legal questions and find solutions to problems through analytical ability and thorough research.
• Act as advocate and represent the Client in legal proceedings under all legislation relevant to the area of law.
• Draft and complete all types of legal documentation, including where external organisations are involved.
• Engage in supervision and performance framework of legal services.
• Keep up to date with legislation, regulation and case law relevant to work.
