Charles Hunter Associates Ltd is recruiting a Children's Social Worker for a Children in Need Team. The role requires a Social Work qualification with a minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience, and the ability to carry out court work to safeguard children.

You will engage in extensive assessments, long-term work with families, and IPCP meetings, with hybrid working and a focus on lower caseloads. A car and valid license are important requirements.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Social Work qualification with at least 2 years post-qualification experience.
• The ability to complete court work and protect the children is essential.
• A valid clean driving license and car are important.

Responsabilités

• Create and review care plans every 12 weeks.
• Visit children at their homes every 6 weeks to support needs.
• Attend IPCP meeting sessions as part of the team.
• Undertake extensive assessment work and long-term involvement with families.
• Work on CP cases with appropriate safeguarding responsibilities.
