Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates Ltd is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join a children’s services locality team in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role involves safeguarding, assessment work, and developing plans for children and families to be reviewed every 12 weeks.

The post requires a Social Work qualification with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience. Hybrid working is offered with a competitive umbrella rate of £31 per hour (PAYE option available).

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with 3+ years post-qualification experience.

Responsibilities

• Create plans for children and families, reviewed every 12 weeks.
• Extensive assessment work, long-term and frontline (Child Protection, Children in Need, Safeguarding) experience.
• Experience in section 47 and section 17 is advantageous.
