Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates are recruiting a Children's Social Worker to join a Children in Need Team in the UK. The role requires a Social Work qualification and at least 3 years post-qualification experience, with strong court work and safeguarding skills.

A driving licence and access to a car are essential for home visits. You will develop and review plans every 12 weeks, visit children at home every 6 weeks, and participate in IPCP meetings, working with families to secure safe, stable

Qualifications

• Social Work degree or equivalent (Degree, DipSW, CQSW) required.
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience.
• Ability to complete court work and protect children is essential.
• Extensive assessment work, long term work and CP experience is required.
• Valid clean driving licence and access to a car is important.

Responsibilities

• Create and review plans for children and families every 12 weeks.
• Visit children at their homes every 6 weeks to support their needs.
• Attend IPCP meeting sessions as part of the team.
