Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates is seeking a Children's Social Worker in the West Midlands, England, to join a Children in Need Team. The role is hybrid and pays up to £38 per hour umbrella (PAYE also available).

The successful candidate will hold a Social Work qualification with at least 2 years post-qualification experience, be able to undertake court work and CP tasks, and drive to visit families and carry out assessments. A valid driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Social Work degree (Degree, DipSW, CQSW) required.
• Minimum 2 years post-qualified experience.
• Ability to perform court work and protect children.
• Extensive assessment work, long-term engagement and CP experience.
• Valid driving licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Children in Need Team within West Midlands.
• Create and review plans every 12 weeks for children and families.
• Visit children at their homes every 6 weeks to assess needs.
• Attend IPCP meeting sessions as part of the casework.
