Job summary

Responsibilities

• Maintain HCPC registration and undertake statutory duties for the service group.
• Deliver statutory responsibilities under the Children Act 1989 and related legislation.
• Assess children’s needs with families and professionals, and produce timely plans.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children.
• Prepare reports for courts and meetings; may give evidence in legal proceedings.
• Keep core records up-to-date on the system and provide data for statistics.
• Attend team meetings and operate within financial and budgetary guidelines.
• Engage in supervision, CPD, and post-qualifying development.
• Carry out any related duties within the Children’s Social Worker Framework.
• The role aligns with ASYE progression: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 grades.
