Qualifications

• Experience as a Children's Social Worker within disabilities services.
• Ability to undertake assessments and care planning.
• Experience with statutory duties for looked-after children and child protection.
• Ability to develop support packages for children with disabilities and their families.

Responsibilities

• Undertake initial, core and integrated assessments.
• Develop and review care plans and support packages.
• Undertake statutory duties in relation to looked after children.
• Carry out duties relating to child protection.
• Provide social work support to Children in Need.
• Maintain case records and input into Care First.
• Collaborate with education and health professionals to meet needs.
• Promote welfare and safeguarding through reflective practice.
