Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a Social Worker to join the Children with Disabilities Team in Herefordshire. This permanent role requires you to support children and families, conduct holistic assessments, and coordinate tailored support plans to safeguard and promote wellbeing.

You will work collaboratively with health, education and social care partners, ensuring the voice of the child remains central while delivering high-quality, person-centred social work practice within a restorative

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent).
• Registered with Social Work England and eligible to practice.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with children and families.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and make sound professional decisions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out statutory assessments and care planning for children and young people with disabilities.
• Develop and coordinate tailored support plans with families and partner agencies.
• Safeguard children and promote wellbeing with a restorative, child-centred approach.
• Collaborate with health, education and social care to deliver multi-agency support.
• Maintain accurate case records in line with legislation and standards.
• Advocate for children; ensure their views are central to decisions.
• Engage in supervision and continuous professional development.
