Job summary

Caritas Recruitment Limited is seeking a qualified social worker to join the Children’s TM - D&A Team in Barnet. You will assess needs, develop interventions, and implement care plans in collaboration with families and partners to safeguard children.

You will manage caseloads, work with a multidisciplinary network, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements while delivering high-quality services and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Recognised social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with families and professionals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop interventions.
• Create and implement care plans in collaboration with families and multi-agency partners.
• Manage a caseload of children and families with timely and effective support.
• Participate in team meetings and case reviews to share insights and improve practice.
• Maintain accurate case records in line with statutory requirements.
