Job summary

Caritas Recruitment Limited is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team in Daventry, Northamptonshire. You will assess and safeguard children and families, develop and implement safeguarding plans, and work with multi‑agency partners to achieve the best outcomes.

Qualifications

• Requires relevant Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Registration with Social Work England is required.
• Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with children and families.
• Knowledge of relevant safeguarding legislation and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
• Develop and implement safeguarding plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely case records in line with legislation and local policies.
