Job summary

Northamptonshire Children’s Trust is seeking a qualified social worker with ASYE to join the Duty and Assessment Team (DAAT). You will respond to referrals, conduct initial assessments, and coordinate interventions to safeguard children across Northamptonshire.

You will lead and support a team of social workers, collaborate with partner agencies, and ensure safe, timely services while applying signs of safety and systemic practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker registered with Social Work England.
• ASYE completed and committed to best practice.
• Experience delivering services to children and families.

Responsibilities

• Respond to referrals and conduct initial assessments.
• Provide interventions to children and families in need.
• Lead and support a team of social workers.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of children across the county.
