Job description

We are currently looking for a Children's Social Worker to join a Cared For Children Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.

About the team

This team works to safeguard children and young people when going through CLA proceedings. Part of the responsibilities this team has, is to complete one day of duty per week. The team works very directly with each child to ensure they are settled, can make sense of the changes in care and aid in their recovery from experiences prior to this.

About you

The successful candidate will have extensive experience with children looked after procedures as well as in a children's frontline team. A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years' post qualification experience is essential for this role (a completed ASYE is counted as one completed year). A valid UK driving licence and car is preferred but not essential for this role.
