Wokingham Borough Council is seeking a Service Improvement & Project Support Officer to join the Executive Business Support team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will support improvement initiatives across Children's Services, strengthen data governance, and help ensure services run effectively and comply with statutory requirements.

The role involves coordinating improvement activity, maintaining project documentation, and assisting with inspections and assurance work.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and support service improvement activity across Children’s Services Service Delivery teams; review operational processes to improve consistency, resilience and effectiveness.
• Undertake process mapping and support development of improvement plans, identify gaps and inefficiencies in procedures, systems or practices.
• Maintain trackers, action plans and project documentation to monitor priorities and operational actions; ensure progress is recorded and followed up.
• Support reporting and escalation by collating updates, preparing progress information and written reports on improvement projects; raise risks or issues as needed.
• Support Ofsted inspection planning and service readiness, including logistics, pre-inspection coordination and evidence gathering for presentation to Ofsted.
