£27,580 - £28,797 per annum + £3,000 - £6,000 sleep-in allowance

Hours

Full-time, 39 hours per week (shifts + sleep-ins)

Join our client's dedicated team in Shrewsbury, providing exceptional care to children and young people with complex needs, emotional difficulties, and challenging behaviours. What You'll Do:
  • Deliver high-quality, therapeutic care within a safe and loving home environment.
  • Lead a team alongside a Service Manager and Deputy Manager to achieve the best outcomes for each child.
  • Manage daily shifts, mentor staff, and contribute to strategic planning for the home.
  • Act as a positive role model, building trusting relationships that foster recovery, growth, and lasting change.
  • Ensure access to appropriate services to support the children's needs.
Requirements:
  • Essential: At least 1 year's experience in a residential children's home.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and a strong team leader with a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins.
  • Full UK driving licence (required).
