Job summary

Pro Social Partners Ltd is recruiting a permanent Social Worker for the Safeguarding team in Bracknell, Berkshire. The role involves managing a caseload of children on Child in Need and Child Protection plans, undertaking enquiries and direct work with families, and presenting reports at conferences.

The post requires a recognised Social Work qualification, registration with Social Work England, and post-qualification safeguarding experience.

Qualifications

• Post-qualifying experience in children's safeguarding or child protection.
• Sound knowledge of Working Together to Safeguard Children and statutory processes.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of children subject to Child in Need and Child Protection plans.
• Undertake Section 47 enquiries, assessments and direct work with children and families.
• Prepare reports and present at child protection conferences and core group meetings.
• Work closely with partner agencies to reduce risk and improve outcomes for children.
• Keep children's voices at the centre of all assessment and planning.
