Job summary

Bracknell Forest Council is seeking a Senior Social Worker in Safeguarding to join the permanent team in Bracknell, Berkshire. You will hold a caseload of complex cases and provide practice expertise within the safeguarding service.

The role offers a salary of £49,918–£53,048 with a package up to £60,048 and a £7,000 Golden Hello. You will mentor colleagues, work with partner agencies, and ensure children's voices are central in assessments and planning.

Qualifications

• Recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration.
• Extensive post-qualifying experience in child protection, including complex cases.
• Strong knowledge of Working Together to Safeguard Children and statutory processes.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities
