Salary: £27,580 Per Annum + £3,000-£6,000 per annum for sleep-ins (approx. 4-8 sleep-ins per month)

Hours: Full-Time, 39 hours per week, Long days with 2 on and 4 off with a sleep-in

Contract Type: Permanent

Full UK Driving Licence Required

About the Role

Leader Recruitment Group, a trusted specialist in recruitment for children's residential care, is recruiting compassionate and enthusiastic Children's Support Workers for a children's home in Worthing. This role involves creating a nurturing environment and supporting children with complex needs and behavioural challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a safe, caring, and welcoming home environment.
  • Support children’s daily needs and foster trust-based relationships.
  • Engage in activities like football, gaming, cycling, baking, etc.
  • Provide emotional and physical support, empowering children.
  • Assist with household tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
  • Build meaningful connections and encourage independence.
  • Work shifts, including weekends and sleep-in duties (approx. 4-8 per month).
What We're Looking For
  • Essential: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people, with a caring, flexible, and resilient attitude.
  • Strong communication skills, enthusiasm for engaging activities.
  • Ability to build rapport with young people and colleagues.
  • Willingness to work shifts and undertake sleep-in duties.
