Job summary

Rotherwood is seeking dedicated Children's Support Workers for our residential services in the Clitheroe area. You will provide a secure, nurturing, and structured environment for children and young people during day shifts or waking nights.

Responsibilities include school runs, activities, appointments, and documenting progress, with a focus on safety overnight and in the day. A full UK driving licence is essential, and flexibility to work shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence essential due to rural location.
• Experience with children or young people in residential care or youth services.
• Flexible shift patterns (days or waking nights).
• Patient, resilient and engaging personality.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, child-centred care during day shifts or waking night duties.
• Assist with school runs, activities, appointments, and daily routines.
• Ensure safety and monitor the home overnight, and handle any night-time distress.
• Transport children to appointments, school, and social activities.
• Document daily progress, handovers, and incident reports.
