Job summary

Horizon Care Ltd Preston is seeking a Children’s Residential Support Worker to assist looked after young people in daily life, education, and activities within our residential homes. You will help maintain routines, foster a safe and supportive environment, and support personal development and social opportunities for each child.

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual Driving licence is essential to take our children to school, appointments and activities.
• Ability to be a great role model to looked after children.
• Ability to build trusting relationships.
• A genuine care and compassion to work with looked after children.
• Flexibility to work shifts that include evenings and weekends and sleep ins.
• Willingness to complete Level 3 qualification in Childrens and Young People Workforce.
