Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a Children’s Residential Support Worker in Ely, Cambridgeshire to support young people aged 8 to 18 with EBD in a good, residential service. Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

Salary: £31,473 to £34,475 (sleep allowance included)

Job Description: Are you a motivated and resilient individual passionate about making a positive impact on young people's lives? A leading specialist provider is seeking a dedicated Children's Residential Support Worker to join a “good” children's residential service in Ely, Cambridgeshire.

This full-time, permanent role offers an engaging environment where you can support young people aged 8 to 18 years with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). If you are empathetic, driven, and eager to help young people develop socially, emotionally, and behaviourally, this is an excellent opportunity to start or advance your career in health and social care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Encourage young people to participate in activities and take responsibility for their own lives, tailored to their age.


• Maintain a homely, friendly environment within the residential setting.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Children's Residential Support Worker or with young people is desirable but not essential.


• Experience within healthcare or social care settings is advantageous.


• Must hold a full UK manual driver's licence, as transportation of young people may be required.


• Over the age of 21.


• Ability to commute to Ely, Cambridgeshire.
