Job summary

Together Trust in Walkden, Salford, is hiring a Children’s Residential Social Care Worker to support children with learning disabilities and autism in a home setting. You will work as part of a caring team to help children build independence and daily living skills.

The role involves 37.5 hours per week on a 7-day rota with enhanced hours and pay. The trust emphasises safeguarding, development, and a supportive work environment within a community-focused charity.

Qualifications

• Support children with daily living, recreation and independence.
• Work in a residential childcare team with person-centred plans.
• Experience in safeguarding and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for children and young people with their physical, emotional and social needs.
• Prepare and assist with person-centred plans and care routines.
• Support communication using aids and maintain records.
• Deliver care in collaboration with the team and Registered Manager.
