Job Title: Bank Children's Nurse
Location: Various locations including Ossett, Wakefield, Bradford, Leeds, Huddersfield, Halifax-Travel may be required
Salary: GBP35-GBP55ph

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Bank Children s Nurse to join Routes Healthcare s specialist complex care team. You ll play a hands-on role delivering safe, person-centred care to children with complex clinical needs in their own homes.

Your typical duties may include:

  • Direct delivery of care to children with complex needs
  • Clinical interventions including:
    • Tracheostomy care and management
    • Ventilation (invasive and non-invasive)
    • PEG feeding and enteral nutrition
    • Oxygen therapy and airway management
    • Medication administration
    • Manual handling and repositioning
  • Following detailed care plans and working collaboratively with families
  • Reporting changes in condition and ensuring clinical records are maintained to a high standard
  • Supporting care staff with basic clinical competency where required

What we re looking for:

  • Registered Children s Nurse (RCN) with valid NMC pin
  • Experience in tracheostomy and ventilation care is essential
  • Confident with PEG feeding, oxygen therapy and complex medication administration
  • Community care experience desirable, but not essential
  • A calm, compassionate presence with a commitment to high standards of care
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends or nights if available
  • A UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred
