THIS IS AN UNPAID VOLUNTEERING ROLE.

Role Title: Senior Learning and Development Officer (SLO)

Location: Home-based

The Blockchain & Climate Institute (BCI) is an international think-tank supporting and advocating the application of blockchain technology in the global fight against climate change.

We are looking for a passionate VOLUNTEER who takes a strategic approach to their work, builds professional relationships with stakeholders, and generates opportunities for organizational development.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with curating and/or creating Capacity Building material for the Institute
  • Create Learning and Training opportunities for volunteers
  • Deliver training initiatives to meet the training needs within the Institute
  • Provide regular administrative support for learning and development functions
  • Assist in coordinating BCI learning and training sessions
Requirements:
General & Specialist Knowledge
  • Strong interest in topics central to BCI, such as climate change, climate finance, and blockchain technology
  • Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Manager, or similar
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
Skills & Abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Excellent communication skills
