Vetro Recruitment is seeking an experienced Children’s Home Registered Manager to lead a residential care service in Reading, Berkshire. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, staff management, and strategic development within the home, supporting the well‑being and outcomes of young residents.

Qualifikationen

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care Services (Children and Young People’s Residential Management) or equivalent.
• Significant experience in residential care with vulnerable young people.
• Proven leadership and resource management abilities.
• Knowledge of Children Act, Children’s Homes Regulations, and Ofsted standards.

Aufgaben

• Lead the residential home to ensure efficient operation in line with legislation and the Statement of Purpose.
• Provide strong leadership and motivate staff to deliver exceptional care.
• Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs with statutory compliance.
• Oversee recruitment, supervision, training and performance appraisals.
• Manage budgets and resources for value for money and efficiency.
• Build relationships with external agencies, families and regulators.
• Ensure safeguarding policies are followed and a safe environment.
