Are you an experienced Children's Nurse looking for a new challenge?

This is an exciting opportunity to work within an award-winning team with excellent staff survey results.

Role Overview

The role involves case managing and caring for children with chronic or acute nursing needs outside of the hospital environment, within a nurse-led team. It offers a chance to share ideas and improve patient outcomes.

Working Hours

The service operates from 9-5, seven days a week. This is a full-time position, offering 37.5 hours per week, including some weekend and bank holiday work, to cover maternity leave.

Candidate Requirements

• Registered children’s nurse

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical and non-clinical care focused on outcomes
• Support children and families to participate fully in life at home and in the community
• Develop knowledge and skills through varied and interesting workload
• Support and develop junior team members, including staff appraisals
• Teach parents, carers, and health professionals
• Mentor students pre- and post-registration
• Work closely with clinical nurse specialists and Consultant Paediatricians to plan, implement, and evaluate care
