Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is working with Bolton Council to recruit an Advanced Practitioner for the Referral and Assessment Children’s team in Bolton. You will hold cases and mentor NQSWs and social workers, with responsibility for timely child protection work, CIN cases, court reports and statutory deadlines.

The role is 37 hours per week, full-time, based at Castle Hill with on-site parking. DBS and references on request; 5 years references checked.

Qualifications

• Advanced Practitioner with at least 3 years’ experience for Referral and Assessment Children’s team.
• Knowledge of child protection, CIN, court processes and timely reporting.
• Experience mentoring/supervising newly qualified social workers.

Responsibilities

• Case-holding and mentoring NQSWs and social workers.
• Work across Bolton RA teams with office base at Castle Hill.
• Undertake duty and home visits within statutory deadlines.

Job description

Our client Bolton Council is looking for a Advanced practitioner to join their Assessment Children's team.

Advanced Practitioner with at least 3 years experience required for Referral and Assessment Children's team.

The role is case holding and mentoring/supporting NQSW's and SW's

Must have knowledge of

• * Reports
• * Working within statutory deadlines, etc within an assessment service

Candidates need to be able to undertake duty and home visits. Caseload will be across Bolton with office base at Castle Hill. Depending on experience successful candidates will be allocated across the RA teams and service.

37 hours per week - full-time post

References will be requested for any candidates offered an interview and DBS requested for any candidate offered a post.

5 years reference, gaps in employment history checked, any relevant quals as per JDPS
