Job summary

Remedy Social Work is supporting Bolton Council to recruit an Advanced Practitioner for the Assessment Children's team. The role involves case-holding and mentoring NQSWs and SWs, handling child protection and CIN matters, court reports, and meeting statutory deadlines within the assessment service. Duty and home visits are required.

The caseload covers Bolton with an office base at Castle Hill. This is a full-time position, 37 hours per week, with references and enhanced DBS checks as part of

• Advanced Practitioner with at least 3 years' experience in Referral and Assessment Children's team.
• Experience in case-holding and mentoring NQSWs and SWs.
• Experience in Child Protection and CIN, court reports, and statutory deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Hold cases across Bolton within the Assessment Children's team.
• Mentor and support NQSWs and social workers.
• Complete reports and ensure statutory deadlines are met.

Candidates need to be able to undertake duty and home visits.

Caseload will be across Bolton with office base at Castle Hill. Depending on experience successful candidates will be allocated across the RA teams and service.

37 hours per week - full-time post.

References will be requested for any candidates offered an interview and DBS requested for any candidate offered a post.

5 years reference, gaps in employment history checked, any relevant quals as per JDPS.
