Responsibilities include welfare checks, supporting overnight needs, keeping detailed logs and reports for daytime staff, and following care plans and safeguarding procedures to maintain a calm and nurturing environment.

• Ensure the safety, welfare and wellbeing of the young people throughout the night
• Support young people with any needs they may have overnight, offering emotional reassurance and practical assistance where necessary
• Carry out regular welfare checks and ensure the environment remains safe and secure
• Complete accurate and detailed reports, logs and handovers for daytime staff
• Follow individual care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures
• Respond appropriately to any incidents or emergencies in line with company policies
• Maintain a calm, nurturing, and supportive environment at all times
