Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a seasoned Team Manager for the Children in Care service on a 3 month contract in Aston, West Midlands. The role leads a team of social workers to ensure high-quality care planning and outcomes for children in care and those involved in care proceedings.

You will supervise practice, ensure safeguarding, and drive service improvement in a trauma-informed, relationship-based environment. DBS and Social Work England registration are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
• Extensive experience in Children's Social Care.
• Proven management, supervisory, or leadership experience.
• Experience in care planning and safeguarding.

Responsabilités

• Lead, manage, supervise, and support a team of Social Workers.
• Oversee care and permanence planning for children and young people in care.
• Maintain high standards of social work practice within the team.
• Advocate for trauma-informed and relationship-based practice.
• Monitor performance, quality assurance, and service delivery.
• Collaborate with partner agencies and professionals.
