Job summary

Nudge Education Limited is seeking compassionate practitioners to deliver personalised 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH or additional needs in a community-based setting. This role offers flexible opportunities based on location and student match, enabling meaningful learning outside traditional classrooms.

You will build trust, monitor progress, complete risk assessments, and report safeguarding concerns, while working with families, professionals and regional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of three days’ availability per week to provide consistency for our young people.
• Willingness to obtain business car insurance prior to commencing the role.
• Safeguarding commitments including enhanced DBS checks.

About The Role

We are looking for compassionate and adaptable practitioners to deliver personalised 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs.

This is a community-based role, working beyond traditional classrooms to create safe, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences.

Who We’re Looking For

You may come from education, youth work, healthcare, social care, coaching, uniformed services, or other people-focused backgrounds.

Essential Requirements

Practicalities

• Flexible opportunities based on location and student match
• £16–£25 per hour for lead roles, plus agreed expenses
• Monday–Friday daytime availability required
• Consistent availability is essential to provide stability for young people
