Job summary

Nudge Education Limited is seeking compassionate and adaptable practitioners to deliver personalised 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs. This community-based role extends beyond traditional classrooms to create safe, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences in Ipswich.

You will deliver tailored sessions, build trust with vulnerable youths, monitor progress, and collaborate with families and professionals to ensure safeguarding and progress are reported

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience.
• Experience supporting young people with SEN and/or SEMH needs.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Availability for at least 3 weekdays during daytime hours.
• ADHD/ ADD experience.
• Willing to adapt to erratic behaviours.
• Willing to do Complex Needs & Personal Care.

About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and adaptable practitioners to deliver personalised 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs.

Who We're Looking For

You may come from education, youth work, healthcare, social care, coaching, uniformed services, or other people-focused backgrounds.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience
• Experience supporting young people with SEN and/or SEMH needs

Desirable

• Teaching or therapeutic qualifications

• Knowledge of ADHD, ASD, PDA and trauma-informed practice

Practicalities

• Flexible opportunities based on location and student match
• £16-£25 per hour for lead roles, plus agreed expenses
• Monday-Friday daytime availability required
• Consistent availability is essential to provide stability for young people
