Job summary

Nudge Education Limited in Norwich is seeking compassionate practitioners to provide personalised 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH or additional needs in community settings beyond traditional classrooms.

You will build trusting relationships, deliver tailored intervention sessions, monitor progress, report safeguarding concerns, and collaborate with families, professionals, and regional teams to create safe, engaging learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience.
• Experience supporting young people with SEN and/or SEMH needs.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of three days per week.
• Willingness to obtain business car insurance prior to commencing.
• SEMH experience is desirable.
• Complex needs experience preferred.
• Willing to do some personal care.

About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and adaptable practitioners to deliver personalised 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs.

This is a community-based role, working beyond traditional classrooms to create safe, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences.

Who We’re Looking For

You may come from education, youth work, healthcare, social care, coaching, uniformed services, or other people-focused backgrounds.

Essential Requirements

Practicalities

• Flexible opportunities based on location and student match
• £16-£25 per hour for lead roles, plus agreed expenses
• Monday-Friday daytime availability required
• Consistent availability is essential to provide stability for young people
