Job summary

Broken Arrow Public Schools is seeking a Program Assistant to support the B&A Connections and Extension Programs. This full-time role requires a high school diploma or GED, a clean background check, and CPR/First Aid certification.

You will assist with daily operations, supervise children, and help implement DHS-approved activities across multiple sites. Responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality, reporting suspected abuse, communicating with parents, and attending scheduled

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Background check required per OKDHS standards.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Must complete 12 hours per year of training.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Manager or Staff Daycare Lead with day-to-day operations at the site.
• Observe and ensure the safety of all children in care.
• Assist in implementing lesson plans and DHS required centers.
• Maintain confidentiality and report suspected abuse to the Director.
• Maintain open communication with parents and participate in trainings.
• Be able to travel to different site locations as needed.
