Childcare Assessor

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum + monthly car allowance

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: North remit, Watford, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom

Hours: Full Time

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to deliver training and coaching to apprentices through current frameworks & new standards with the aim of each learner successfully achieving end point assessment. You will be responsible for delivering quality, engaging, and motivational 1-2-1 and group schemes of work to apprentices.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver timely full framework apprenticeships including Functional Skills (mathematics/English/ICT Levels 1 & 2).
2. Set and monitor training targets linking on and off the job training.
3. Act as a client liaison to support client programme development.
4. Adhere to ESFA/CIF/OFSTED/AO requirements.
5. Manage your diary effectively to ensure all apprentices are seen on a 4-week basis.
6. Organise and maintain documentation to demonstrate the progress of apprentices.
7. Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners’ needs.
8. Prioritize quality and always put the learner at the center of your work.
9. Guide learners to make informed choices regarding their future development, including further qualifications and career progression.
10. Attend standardization & team meetings.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 2 years relevant occupational experience in Residential Child Care or Early Years.
• Passion for delivering timely quality provision.
• Experience motivating and engaging learners with a track record of successful outcomes.
• Hold (or be working towards) an A1/CAVA or equivalent qualification.
• Hold (or be working towards) a teaching or equivalent qualification.
• Hold (or be working towards) a V1/IQA or equivalent qualification (desirable).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Drive, determination, flexibility, and professionalism.
• Strong passion for lifelong learning.
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
