Childcare Assessor

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum + monthly car allowance

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: North remit, Crawley, West Sussex, United Kingdom

Hours: Full Time

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to deliver training and coaching to apprentices through current frameworks & new standards, aiming for each learner to successfully achieve end point assessment. You will be responsible for delivering quality, engaging, and motivational 1-2-1 and group sessions to apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely full framework apprenticeships including Functional Skills (mathematics, English, ICT Levels 1 & 2).
• Set and monitor training targets linking on and off-the-job training.
• Support client programme development as a liaison.
• Adhere to ESFA/CIF/OFSTED/AO requirements.
• Manage your diary effectively to ensure all apprentices are seen on a 4-week basis.
• Organise and maintain documentation to demonstrate apprentice progress.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner needs.
• Prioritise quality and put the learner at the center of your work.
• Guide learners to make informed decisions about their future development, including further qualifications and careers.
• Attend standardisation and team meetings.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years relevant occupational experience in Residential Child Care or Early Years.
• Passion for delivering timely, quality provision.
• Experience motivating and engaging learners with a track record of successful outcomes.
• Hold or be working towards a relevant qualification such as A1/CAVA, teaching qualification, or equivalent.
• Desirable: V1/IQA or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and organisational skills.
• Drive, determination, flexibility, and a passion for lifelong learning.
• Professionalism in managing relationships.
• A team-player with a positive, flexible attitude.
