Job summary

Mumbles Nursery is seeking Nursery Assistant Apprentices who will study toward Early Years Practitioner Level 2/3 Early Educator depending on experience. You will support a dedicated team, help deliver EYFS-aligned activities, and participate in training to achieve the Level 2 qualification.

You will work under the Nursery Manager and collaborate with staff to create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for children.

Qualifications

• Studying toward Early Years Practitioner Level 2/3 Early Educator depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing a range of activities that support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Provide a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for the children.
• Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Engage with children through play, storytelling, and creative activities.
• Help maintain accurate records of children’s progress and share with parents and caregivers.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery/preschool.
• Attend training sessions and complete the Level 2 qualification
