Job summary

1st Choice Nursery is seeking a Nursery Assistant Apprentice in London. You will study toward your Early Years Practitioner Level 2 or Early Years Educator Level 3 depending on experience, joining our Early Years team to support children aged 0–5 in a caring environment.

As an apprentice, you will plan and deliver activities, observe child development, and help maintain a safe and stimulating learning space, while following nursery policies and safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship-based role in a nursery environment.
• Studying toward EY Practitioner Level 2 or EY Educator Level 3 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS.
• Assist with observing and recording children’s development and progress.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment.
• Support children with daily routines such as meals, toileting, and rest.
• Work collaboratively with team members and follow nursery policies and safeguarding procedures.
