Little Gruffalos (Hemsworth) offers a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship, providing a hands-on training path in a nursery setting for children aged 2 to 5 years. The trainee will gain practical experience while working remotely with the tutor and visiting the setting.

The program emphasizes safeguarding, self-help development, and early learning foundations. Successful completion leads to a Level 3 qualification and potential permanent roles in childcare.

Formación

• Prior knowledge or experience in childcare/early years.
• Willingness to complete Level 3 Apprenticeship with training.
• Willingness to undertake safeguarding and health hygiene.

• Provide activities ensuring learning through play.
• Support children’s development, planning and observations.
• Prepare environment and resources for children.
• Assist with food preparation for meals and snacks.
• Support children’s self-help skills.
• Follow safeguarding rules at all times.
• Undertake First Aid training as required.
• Maintain health and hygiene standards.

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting and especially someone passionate in childcare and early years,looking to further their career.

• Providingan excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst havingfun.
• Supporting children’s learning and development, including supporting planning and observations.
• Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children.
• Preparation of food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea.
• Supporting children’s self-help needs.
• Being creative and enthusiastic.
• Following safeguarding rules.
• Undertaking First Aid training asrequired.
• Undertaking training asappropriate tomeet any changes in standards orappropriate legalrequirements asrequired.
• Ensuring that all health and hygiene requirements are always adhered to.

After completion, you will develop into a Level 3 practitioner, with the potential of a permanent position upon successful completion. There is also the potential to go into other childcare orientated rolese.g.,socialwork, teaching, managerial roles etc.

About the Training

• You will gainaLevel 3 Early Years Educator qualification at the end of thecourse.
• All training is completed remotely viateams,your tutor will be there to support you throughout and visit yoursetting.
• Online remote training sessions will take place once every week for the first 8 weeks and they’ll be scheduled in as and when.
• You will complete your Level 3 Paediatric First Aid.
