Job Description:

Aspire Training Team is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Victoria Place Day Nursery.

Victoria Place has three rooms for babies, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, with space for a maximum of 48 children per day, from 6 months to 5 years old.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Assist in creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment for young children.
• Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities to encourage learning and development.
• Supervise children during play, meal, and rest times, ensuring their well-being.
• Work alongside staff to support children’s social, emotional, and physical needs.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic setting following health and safety guidelines.
• Observe and record children’s progress, reporting to supervisors as required.
• Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents to foster positive relationships.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and policies.

Requirements:

• You must be able to gain a clear DBS.
• Preferably have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent.

Hours:

• The nursery operates year-round, from 08:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday.
• The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
