Job Description:

The Aspire Training Team is currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join Kid’s Love Nature’s Lymington setting as a Level 3 Apprentice.

The setting looks after children from ages 1 to 5 and benefits from a large outdoor area, dining room, art room, separate indoor and outdoor spaces for 1-year-olds, and a supersized sandpit for the children.

This is an exciting opportunity to complete a Level 3 Childcare apprenticeship within a friendly team at a fantastic setting.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Working effectively as part of a team
• Planning activities for the children
• Communicating with parents and maintaining accurate children’s records
• Interacting with children and encouraging participation in activities
• Creating a warm, friendly, and stimulating environment for children to flourish
• Supporting with personal care and nappy changes
• Preparing snacks and baking
• Helping to keep the setting clean and tidy

Qualities required:

• The ideal candidate will be a great team player, confident, outgoing, and willing to carry out various tasks.
• You should also be imaginative, creative, and committed to a career in Childcare.

Requirements:

• You must be able to obtain a clear DBS check
• Ideally, you will have GCSE Grades A*-C in English Language and Maths, or equivalent (e.g., functional skills)

Hours:

• Minimum of 30 hours per week with shifts between 8 am and 5 pm. There is potential for full-time employment after the course for the right candidate.
