Early Years Apprenticeship – Level 3 – The Little Blue Door, Westhampnett

The Aspire Training Team is currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join The Little Blue Door at their Westhampnett setting as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice.

At Little Blue Door, we prioritize wellbeing as vital for the health and development of young minds, maintaining this focus throughout our design process to offer a healthy and safe environment for children to thrive. Outdoor play and learning are integral, with 5,000 sq. ft of thoughtfully designed outdoor space for children to learn through play.

This is an exciting opportunity to complete a Level 3 Childcare apprenticeship within a friendly team at a fantastic setting.

Your Role and Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting in the classroom and caring for children
• Communicating with parents
• Assisting with planning activities
• Carrying out activities
• Food preparation
• Toileting and nappy changing
• Engaging in play and reading activities

Requirements:

• Level 2 Childcare qualification is essential
• Ability to obtain a clear DBS check
• Good standard of English and Maths

Hours:

• Minimum of 30 hours and up to 45 hours per week, with shift patterns between 07:15 and 18:00, Monday to Friday.
