Butter Cups Nursery is seeking a Nursery Assistant Apprentice, where you will study towards your Early Years Educator Level 3 qualification.

Buttercups Nursery School has been a valued part of the Whiteley community since 1998, offering a happy, friendly, and fun-filled childcare environment for children to reach their full potential. We provide peace of mind for parents while their children are in our care.

Join our wonderful nursery as an assistant to a key person and a member of the nursery team, providing safe, high-quality education and care for young children. You will follow the requirements of the Statutory Guidance for the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks:
  1. Support the planning and implementation of activities with individual or groups of children, promoting effective teaching and learning.
  2. Contribute to creating a purposeful, stimulating environment rich in learning opportunities both indoors and outdoors.
  3. Promote the inclusion of all children.
  4. Use knowledge of individual children’s learning and development to meet their diverse needs.
  5. Establish positive and sensitive relationships with children.
  6. Act as a role model and set achievable expectations.
  7. Organise the environment inside and outside to ensure resources meet the needs of the children, considering their abilities, interests, language, and cultural backgrounds.
