Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship – Tweenies Day Nursery

Aspire Training Team is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Tweenies Day Nursery.

Tweenies Day Nursery has been a leading nursery school in Evesham since 1986. We aim to make your child's experience of nursery a fun and exciting one, where they can build confidence in themselves and their abilities by learning through play.

We pride ourselves on having a very low staff turnover, which reflects in how happy and settled the children are. They are more comfortable when the same faces greet them each day.

Our bright two-story building is a perfect learning environment for your little ones. We have an enclosed outdoor baby garden and a large garden for the older children.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Learning the role of a nursery practitioner
• Supporting key workers and shadowing their routines
• Working with children and babies up to 5 years old
• Working as part of a team
• Liaising with parents
• Contributing to daily routines and curriculum
• Assisting with setting up activities
• Assisting with personal care
• Ensuring safeguarding of children in your care

Requirements:

• Level 2 Childcare Qualification required
• Ability to gain a clear DBS check
• GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent

Hours:

• The nursery operates year-round, open from 07:30 to 18:00, Monday to Friday
• The successful candidate will work 30-40 hours per week
