Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 – Banana Moon Day Nursery

Shoots Training are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Banana Moon Day Nursery as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice.

This is an exciting opportunity to complete a Level 3 Childcare apprenticeship within a friendly team at a fantastic setting.

Your duties and responsibilities would include;

1. Provide support to the leadership team
2. Be a Key Person
3. Support other key members of the team
4. Attend to all aspects of personal care, including nappy changing, toileting, and hygiene, feeding, and helping at meal and snack time
5. The main aim is in-the-moment planning; allowing them to be more hands-on with the children and spending more time with them
6. Everyday tasks include setting up the room, tidying away, carrying out risk assessments, completing observations, and liaising with parents

Requirements;

1. Level 2 Childcare Qualification is desired
2. You must be able to gain a clear DBS
3. Preferably have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent

Hours;

1. Banana Moon Day Nursery is open from 07:30-18:30 Monday to Friday
2. The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week with shift patterns to be discussed
