Athona Ltd is recruiting a Psychologist for a locum position with an NHS Trust in Birmingham. The role can be full-time or part-time, starting ASAP and lasting 12 weeks with an hourly rate of £32.

The post is inside IR35 and requires commuting to Birmingham. The successful candidate will deliver a high-level clinical psychology service to children with neurodevelopmental needs, engage in diagnostics and therapy, and provide expert consultation to multi-disciplinary colleagues while following

Qualifications

• To deliver a Clinical Psychology Service commensurate with a Post Graduate Doctoral level of training.
• To provide a specialist clinical psychology service to children presenting with neurodevelopmental needs, across all sectors of care within the Birmingham catchment area.
• To provide specialist psychological diagnosis, assessment and therapy at the same time as offering advice and consultation on children’ psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues
• and to other non professional carers, working autonomously within professionals guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures.
• To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the Psychology team members.
• To be accountable for the direct delivery of clinical services to children, their families and carers.
• To be eligible, you must have Assistant Psychologist experience; previous experience within a similar role is required. Must be able to reliably commute to and work from Birmingham as there is no working from home. Would also need to be able to start ASAP.

Responsibilities
