Job summary

Athona Ltd is assisting an NHS Trust in Birmingham to recruit an Assistant Psychologist for a locum role, full-time or part-time. The position offers £22 per hour inside IR35, with 37.5 hours per week if full-time, start ASAP for 12 weeks.

You will support professional psychological assessments of children and families under supervision, assist in audits and data collection, and contribute to research projects. Reliable commuting to Birmingham is required.

Qualifications

• Must have Assistant Psychologist experience in a similar role.
• Must be able to commute to Birmingham; no work-from-home.
• Availability to start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• To support and enhance the professional psychological assessment of children and families within the service, across all sectors; providing psychological assessment and pre and post assessment support under the supervision of a qualified Practitioner Psychologist, working independently according to a plan agreed with a qualified psychologist and within the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures.
• To assist in clinically related administration, conduct of audits, collection of statistics, and development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work.
• To be eligible, you must have Assistant Psychologist experience previous experience within a similar role is required. Must be able to reliably commute to and work from Birmingham as there is no working from home. Would also need to be able to start ASAP.
