Job summary

Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker (Band 3) for the Community Children’s Nurses to work across the Long Term Conditions and Home Respite teams in Kettering.

The post is full-time (37.5 hours per week), permanent, with a salary of £25,760–£27,476 per year. The role involves autonomous working with supervision, delivering family-centred care, and supporting children in home and community settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in caring for children with additional or complex health needs.
• Experience of working in a community setting.
• Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work use.

Responsibilities

• Deliver play support and personal care including nasogastric feeding, gastrostomy feeding and oxygen therapy.
• Support the Community Children’s Nurses in planning and delivering care.
• Run clinics for children requiring overnight saturations recordings and manage equipment and supplies.
