Job summary

CPL Healthcare is partnering with a client in Ireland to recruit a Social Care Leader for a new children’s residential service in Tipperary, caring for children under 12. The role focuses on safe, nurturing, and child‑centred practice within a therapeutic residential environment.

You will support the Management Team and provide leadership to staff on a daily basis. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, clear communication, and organisational skills, with knowledge of HIQA

Qualifications

• Level 7 qualification in Social Care or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working within children’s services.
• Full clean driver’s licence.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of HIQA standards, safeguarding, and child-centred practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to the staff team within a therapeutic residential environment.
• Support the Management Team in day‑to‑day running of the service while ensuring safe, nurturing, and child‑centred care.
